Silky Dream

And I are going to start making Kanzashi flowers to sell and we've kicked out quite a few practice pieces already.

This is the first attempt at working with silk. Like real, honest to goodness, hand-dyed silk. It was a [choice explicative] to work with! The silk was so thin and hard to fold and then when sewing it together all it wanted to do was twist in on itself - which isn't a *bad* look, but it wasn't what we were going for!

Went with pearls in the center again, though these weren't sewn on as flawlessly as my other piece.

Sadly this fabric is just too pretty NOT to use! So my partner and crime and I will be experimenting more with this temperamental textile!
