When I first heard about the contest I really wanted to participate (who wouldn't?!?!), but I couldn't think what to do for my entry.  Then the idea of doing a zentangle hit me and off I went!
I've spent several sittings on this piece and likely close to 2 1/2 to 3 hours.  It was fun and challenging at the same time to think up patterns to fill the various parts of the dragon, but once I figured out each section in turn it came together fairly easily
